 Schuchardt CollectionWe are proud to inform you that we have acquired he prestigious Franz Schuchardt collection . We will show it in our Museum located in Via Piave 21 in Brebbia.You can see 195 unique items dated from the end of nineteenth century to the beginning of twentieth century . 42 pcs. of meerschaum pipes, 86 pcs. of fine pipes made in porcelain with and made decorations, 29 pcs. of briar sculptured pipes and 38 pcs. of various pipes. continua... |
 Brera collectionGianni Brera was a personage really beloved in Italy. He was a writer ,a reviewer , a sport journalist , but he was most of all a great expert and keen on soccer and he really charmed with his dialectic and his verve the TV watchers.In the year 2002 ,the decennial of his death, Milan, the Town council who adopted him, dedicated him the civic arena, and Bosisio Parini , the Town council were he was born, dedicated him the main square. This is a proof that he lasted an indelible memory to all who had the opportunity to know him.Gianni Brera is for us a V.I.P. as smoker too.  Stories from the MuseumIn 1950, Brebbia designed this model with nude sirens clinging to the pipe that was destined for the American market. But at the moment of passing the frontier they were refused entry (censured) and had to return to Italy to be dressed properly! In fact, it was necessary to grain the design of costumes on to the bodies of the sirens that covered the intimate parts. continua... |
