Regardless of the price that is determined by the quality of the briar, our pipes, even the cheapest ones, are all well smokable. The choice depends primarly on personal taste, which is very subjective.

If you want to make a special purchase look for a Brebbia with "PURA" mark stamped on the pipe, which indicates that the briar has not been stuccoed and therefore will not be stained over time (stucco keeps its original color while the briar darkens).
